Many families in our area who are looking for support don’t always know where to turn. The Life Skills Program at Fellowship (in partnership with Love Your Neighbor) offers practical answers and helpful tools to assist in the transition from struggling to thriving. The Life Skills Program provides education and mentoring in a variety of areas including budgeting, nutrition, parenting and more, learning to apply core skills, and discover gifts to contribute to God’s kingdom.
For struggling families, the process of learning to live with a budget is generation changing. Families learn to break out of the cycle of paycheck-to-paycheck survival. Through provided resources of food, clothing and other household items, we are able to assist families to forgo the costly expenses of current day-to-day requirements, creating the breathing room to pay bills, build savings and ensure stability.
The Life Skills Program meets on Tuesday evenings at Fellowship Church. Dinner and childcare are provided as part of the Tuesday evening program. Life Skills Program is offered in cooperation with Love Your Neighbor.
