He Is My REDEMPTION
Instructions for participating in at-home worship:
Readings and prayer are provided here as suggestions for your family to do together. Even though our church is not physically gathered together in one building, there is a unity in Christ that happens when we all read the same scriptures and say the same prayers separately in our homes. Know that as your family participates in this worship time in your home, you are joining many others doing exactly the same thing in their homes.
You may download and print this entire service BULLETIN as well as sermon NOTES for children from the Download Files section at the bottom of this page.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of God. Let us consider him who endured such opposition from sinful people, so that we will not grow weary and lose heart.
—from Hebrews 12:2-3, NIV

Read God’s Word Together
16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
¬—2 Corinthians 5:16–21 (NIV)
Pray Together
Jesus, you know the anguish of our human lives. As one who sees the pain of those who suffer, bring comfort, peace, and strength. As one who has experienced the agony and tears of losing loved ones, comfort all who grieve. As one who wept over the faithlessness of your people, send your Spirit to correct us in our unfaithfulness. As one who understands the agony of those who have been deserted, stand alongside those who feel alone and abandoned today. As one who was once forsaken by all others, give hope and assurance to those who feel rejection. As one who knows the ravages of violence, bring peace and healing to those who are tortured by enemies. You, Lord, have offered up prayers with loud cries and tears; hear us when we do the same. We approach your throne of grace with boldness. May we receive mercy and grace in our time of need. Amen.
